22nd Annual Salute To Women

September 22nd, 2012-In the Top of the Falls room at the Airport. Nominations are due July 27th, 5pm. Nominations are open to women of Cascade County who have shown achievement in some or all of the following areas:

Exhibit courage, creativity, competence, originality or perserverance; who improve the quality of life for others; who contribute to the YWCA's goal of Empowering Women; contribute to the YWCA's goal of Eliminating Racism.

Awards for 2012 will be given in the following categories:

Business and Professional-businesswomen, entrepreneurs, and those involved in classic professions such as law, military, science or finance.

Creative Arts and Communication-art, design, theater, dance, music, and the spoken, written or transmitted word

Education-early childhood providers through higher education

Health and Human Services-doctors, nurses, allied medical professions, social workers, counselors and ministers

Volunteer Community Service-unpaid workers who provide outstanding service to human or community needs

Young Woman of Tomorrow-outstanding young women who demonstrate leadership qualities in school, church, sports, or volunteerism
