Volunteers are special people at the YWCA! We recognize the tremendous impact our volunteers’ time, skills and experience have on all that we do. At the YWCA, volunteers find fun, flexibility, friendship, a sense of community and recognition for their hard work.

Volunteer positions are always available in our Y’s Buys thrift store and in helping out with our popular special events. Volunteers also work to keep our building clean, use their landscaping skills in our gardens and help our staff with their ongoing projects. Opportunities are available for community members with special skills, as well as for school or youth group community service projects, and are also listed with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
